To save myself from insanity, I’m writing this post in my car. I’m on my way to Myrtle Beach, SC for vacation with my family before we head into the studio. Could there be a better two weeks? I’m so pumped to get back in the studio with the guys. Not just because I think everything is sounding good, but because I’m playing and making music with some of my best friends. As soon as we get new stuff done, we’ll post clips and see what you think. Also, we’ll be posting a lot of pictures. - Jake
The Distance City of Lights Backwards Times Not Waiting Home The Wishing Well
First of all, thank you all so much for your prayers and continued support of our music. It’s huge to know that we have people that care about what we’re doing, it goes much further than you’ll ever know.
As for the record, most of you probably know about the floods in Nashville. To put it quite mildly, we were affected by them. Most of the studio we were working in was washed away, which was in Keith’s (our producer) house.
Without having to say too much, the album will be finished, we’re just not sure when. We are still very excited about finishing the record, and are confident that it is going to be great. For the time, please keep Keith and his wife Erin, and dexter of course, in your prayers as they begin to rebuild and relocate.
Please keep checking back as we will update with different pics and video updates. Thanks so much. - Jake
